Refinar East Africa is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to join our team! This exciting role combines sales and technical expertise, perfect for someone passionate about engaging with customers and understanding engineering solutions. You will be responsible for clients interested in water solutions & sanitation, solar energy & solutions, food packaging and processing machines, and general engineering inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in front office administration/business or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a service-oriented industry
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience
- Basic accounting skills
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Customer service oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Interest in engineering-related work
- Engineering background or interests
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Excellent sales and marketing skills
- Content creation skills & Social media skills
- Extrovert personality
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend technical solutions
- Conduct market surveys to identify trends and opportunities in the industry
- Develop and implement sales strategies to generate revenue
- Maintain positive client relationships and provide ongoing support
- Stay updated with industry trends and propose innovative solutions
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to achieve company objectives
