Description
A general-purpose water plant is for purifying water with high fluorides, iron, and suspending solids. The water is then used in overall cleaning except for drinking and cooking unless further purified using reverse osmosis.

This method is recommended for use in residential buildings where large volumes of water are needed daily.
Since the total dissolved solids (TDS) is high in this process ( above 1000ppm), this water is not suitable for drinking unless passed through reverse osmosis to bring the TDS below 100ppm
